Garden Notes
Creeping Jenny is a low, mat-forming perennial with trailing stems and rounded, coin-shaped leaves. It spreads by rooting along its stems and can fill gaps quickly, spill over walls and containers, or form a dense groundcover. Small bright yellow, cup-shaped flowers appear during the growing season. Foliage color is strongest with more light, while plants in shade tend to remain greener. Its vigorous spreading habit should be watched so it does not overwhelm neighboring plants or escape into unwanted areas.
